Royer R-121 Ribbon Microphone
Royer R-121 Ribbon Microphone Details
Released in 1998, the award-winning R-121 is our flagship microphone; the world's first radically reengineered ribbon microphone and the model that reintroduced ribbon mics to engineers around the world. We did away with the large, heavy, fragile "classic" approach to ribbon microphones and went in a completely new direction. The R-121 gives all of the warmth and natural sound that experienced engineers have long turned to ribbon mics for, but in a compact, light-weight, high output and tough-as-nails package that was unheard of in a ribbon mic before the R-121. In its 10+ years in the market, thousands of R-121's have been sold around the world and it's well established as a standard for tracking electric guitar and brass.
The R-121 redefined ribbon microphones so completely that Recording Magazine wrote "...the Royer R-121 is destined to become one of the classic microphones of the 21st century."

Brauner Phantom Classic FET Microphone
Brauner Phantom Classic FET Microphone Details
The Phantom Classic, like its predecessor the Phantom C (Cardioid), embodies reduction to the absolutely essential without compromise in performance.
The design philosophy of this large diaphragm FET microphone - which works purely in cardioid characteristic, guarantees a sound quality otherwise found only in Brauner's tube microphones. Its capsule is based on the ideal of the VM1 giving the Phantom C a very natural and pristine sound character.
The Phantom’s success was most recently augmented through the release of the limited edition Phantom AE (anniversary edition). This edition was released to mark the occasion of Brauner's 10-year anniversary and was comprised of 1000 nickel colored as well as 1000 black microphones. After the paramount success of the limited Phantom anniversary series, Brauner now delivers the legitimate successor of the Phantom C with the Phantom Classic.
The Phantom was nominated for TecAward in 2003 and received various awards by associated audio magazines.
Miktek C7 Large Diaphragm Multi-Pattern Microphone
Miktek C7 Large Diaphragm Multi-Pattern Microphone Details
The Miktek C7, multi-pattern, large diaphragm FET condenser will impress the most critical listeners and inspire artists to create their best performance. The microphone’s pick-up characteristic is selectable; offering cardioid, omni and bidirectional patterns. In addition, the C7 employs a high-pass filter and –10dB pad for recording loud sound sources.
The frequency response is warm on the bottom and silky-sweet on the top, yet at the same time, the midrange is natural and open. The microphone produces amazing results when recording acoustic instruments, guitar amps, or as overheads on a drum kit. But of course, the C7 really excels on vocal applications.
The C7 utilizes the new MK7 capsule developed by Miktek engineers, featuring dual 1-inch diaphragms made using 5-micron Mylar with a 0.4-micron layer of evaporated gold. Diaphragms are then precisely tensioned, mounted to carefully- tuned backplates, and finally set back-to-back, with electronic isolation, to create the finished capsule.
